Well, you can convert the video to a .gif and then convert it to a ASCII animation. Is the closest thing you will get to Gameboy quality LOL.

And also, never confuse Gameboy with Gameboy Advance who has "video format".

compile gbc roms from videos like mp4 and avi using ffmpeg and other open source tools

GBC not GB or GBP ONLY AFAIK
