How would we know the future?
There's no hack in preparation, developers are still trying but no real advancement are made or released on newer firmware. no promise that there will be a way to jailbreak newer firmware.
Just wait, be patient, don't update on first occasion.
Last hackable firmware as of today : 3.55

Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it. -
