The text is the same as in HGSS and the original GSC in Japanese so....

It gets translated the same way.

It was translated that way in the original game, so it gets translated like that here.

Plus judging by your post, I don't think you have any right to be a grammar whore.

He has all the reason to be a grammer whore. Your goal seems to be succefully translate this game. While he is pointing out a mistake, he does not have to have proper grammer; because his goal is only pointing out your mistake.

It's not all about the insulting. He said he didn't need anyones help but then he says hell continue tha patch after he sees some walkthorughs. And your just kissing up to him, you don't need to defend him he can speak for himself. Most of the people that watakarun insulted weren't idiots.

This isn't gonna be super perfect, or absolutely the same as the English one... My assumption is that he is also is doing it for practices and he has every right to tell people to report borky text. He has a life you know, he does not have all day to translate this, he's been working for a long time on it and come on, the dude deserves a break. I tried the whole translation process and gave up because it's hard. WK is gifted with this kind of stuff, lucky him. Why don't you try to translate it perfectly and see what you get? *ON TOPIC* Hmmmm. This 3.1 patcher does not work. XDelta GUI for some reason fails to run on this computer but on my dad's laptop it does. I have Net Frame 2.0 BTW

preferably if you add the .patch extension, I did that since I noticed that same problem, and using Raquib&Rikin's patch (with .patch extension) I tried the same and noticed it worked since V1 until now.

Haha, funny, you call it my mistake. You failed to read that that same exact text was translated the same way in the English versions of Gold and Silver. I don't care if it's incorrect grammar. It's the same for nostalgic purposes. And yes, he does have to have proper grammar. Question, how can you criticize grammar, if you don't know what grammar is?

If it's my translation of a new text, then of course I care. But if it was translated like that in the original GS, it gets translated that way here for nostalgic purposes.

Now, if you proceed in this derailing, you will be reported.

Secondly other than some idiotic NPC most is translated im going through all the NPCs and cing which one are still speaking Japanese and are not getting with ur program.

So far the text at the selection screen is untranslated, but im unsure if u meant it to be. And some NPC's at the casino.

I downloaded the HG rom and the patch and it seemed to patch together fine, it's the same MB as it says it should be. However none of the NDS emulators are running it. Any idea? Or suggestions to good NDS emulators? Thanks in advance.

What emulator are you running?
In No$ you need the settings to be:

"Realtime Gameplay" or whatever it is, It's the first option.
And then set the "DS Flash size" to 512kb it's on the left hand column.
That should have the game running unless there's a problem with your rom.

Well I tried using DeSmuMe and Ensata but they both just load up black screens... What emulator do you use? Thanks for the reply.

Hmm... same problem here. Stuck on black screen on Nogba, freezes white with intro music still playing on my Acekard.
Going to get for sure clean copies and try again.
