Hacking Luma 3DS won't update / broken updater?

So I had my new 3ds xl with custom firmware for a while now and I have been really enjoying it so far. But then this strange issue came up. The Luma updater won't work. Basically I open the updater and then it shows exactly this:

" Luma Updater v2.2

This build is only for this and that bla bla bla bla

Payload type: SIGHAX
Payload path: /boot.firm
Backup payload: Yes

Current installed version: 9.0-2a840f2


Could not obtain update details.
Check that the console is connected
to the internet. "


Why won't it update? Or why won't it connect? Normally it's fine with everything else, I could play online, download from freeshop ahem I mean eshop, etc. etc.
and is 9.0-2a840f2 the latest version?

GitHub removed support for TLSv1/1.1, so the 3DS cannot update via the app on the console, you have to manual update Luma.

use the latest build files and replace the older one on your system.
