Hacking Luma 3DS 6.5 Update?

So I'm on a nightly build from last week also sdless luma (arm9loaderhax.bin in CTRNAND) should I update to the latest nightly or the stable version? Because this "luma is stored in /rw in CTRNAND" has confused me a little bit

Not sure if it installs it there or not.. But its just implying that if Luma is at /rw in CTRNAND, and you dont have an sd card inserted that it will load it from there instead. Im not sure how this will play out with A9LH loading from the nand without an sd card inserted as well. I hope it becomes optional..

Just update to stable build and copy paste the arm9loaderhax.bin into your CTR.

i can't update luma past 6.3.1 if i go to a higher version i get stuck on a black screen after luma does any one have any ideas? 6.3.1 works fine

in 6.5 there is a note that says:"
Please note that starting with this release, Luma won't support pre-patched FIRMs or other system titles with the same patches Luma does. Common pre-patched titles include NS, Home Menu, TWL_FIRM and AGB_FIRM (in these cases you will either get a svcBreak in loader or a shutdown when launching DS/GBA games). Clean versions of these titles need to be reinstalled before upgrading (the wiki will be updated with a walkthrough soon™)."

In the Wiki is a FAQ and troubleshooting that has a section "I get a black screen on boot" try that and you should be fine.

alright sweatbox found my problem here https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/FAQ-and-troubleshooting but the thing is now im getting an error saying the firm in /luma is not for this console?

Sounds like you need to delete firmware.bin from the Luma folder.
