Hardware Looking to buy an external HDD for wii

I am looking to utilize the usb connection on my wii for a HDD that is compatible with home brew and storing backups and running the back ups from the HDD. I found a great usb HDD that is inexpensive and has a lot of storage.

It is a western digital 1tb elements portable HDD. (WDBUZG0010BBK-NESN)

I would provide a link but not sure if thats ok to do on this forum. The hdd is 60 bucks and i am really tempted to purchase it for my wii.

Will this work? If not can anyone provide any great deals on hdd for my wii that will work?
