Sorry, we are a english only forum.
But I'll answer you.

The freeze is a common issue.
But if you are using latest commit (not latest release) of the homebrew launcher, or loadiine, you should get a better compatibility and less freezes.

Another thing too : use http://wiiubru.com instead of the one you said. (but I don't know if it's using latest, more stable, version)
It's launching HBL automatically when visiting it, there's no menu or link to click. just load the page twice to page and launch hbl.

sometime, I spend an hour trying to get past the freeze.
that's just a random issue, and you need to try again.

Currently hosts v0.1 , it had v0.2 for a week or so , but i had many complaints that suddently people on 5.4 were struggling , so i reverted back to v0.1 and havent had many complaints since... :s

I just tried wiiubru.com, its working fine through this link, not sure why it doesn't from exploit.wiiubrew.net site!

Some sites work for some , some work for others , its just good we have choices..... thanks for the feedback..

@Doumekxkai It could be formatted "improperly" too. Check out this page. It helped me fix my problem with one of my MicroSDs that was loading slow even when using the official SD Formatter program. I had to adjust the reserved sectors to align it manually.

http://3gfp.com/wp/2014/07/formatting-sd-cards-for-speed-and-lifetime/

Sadly I didn't manage to get the SD working correctly. I tryed that sh script and other tools and the result is the same, more latency... This is quite confusing.

Hey guys!
I added a new information-page on wiiu.rapidraid.de, which includes a selfhosting .zip package.
If somebody of our devs here, has something against it, please say so and I will immediately put it down.
The user @Fatih120 messaged me and asked if he could have a selfhosting package, so why don't release it for everyone, right?

And as always, thanks for the awesome work guys! Love this communtiy!

Or you need to learn to compile.
Yeah of course there'd be users like this from time to time. Thanks for the lovely input.

I'm using a Chromebook which is why I'd rather wait til someone can compile it, nothing wrong with that. I'm not forcing anyone to do it for me, only if they were kind enough to share it. Just a suggestion is all, it'll be useful for a lot of users around here.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
