I've had this problem on 2 computers, first my laptop (where I was trying to see how shitty it would run) and now on my PC (where the game runs well)
I have wine 1.6.2 with directx9 and dsound installed using winetricks. I'm using a pirated copy of GTA 4, and I've applied the ap check fix thingy.
