Hacking Known bug with Tomodachi Collection 1.1

Hello. I have a problem with loading the Tomodachi Collection rom version 1.1. This rom is English patched. When I attempt to load it, it boots fine. Here are the steps you can take to reproduce the bug:

• Load up your R4i 3ds Advance in your DS Lite,
• Go to the ROM file,
• Press A to load it,
• Set the time,
• Name the Island,
• When the game asks you to create your Mii, it freezes loading the mii maker and generates a white screen.

This bug is already known and showed in a list of roms that don't work with the R4i 3ds.
Is there a firmware or version update to the card to fix this problem?
