Hello all,

It has been a while since I've posted anything but...

Do you know a nice backpack with an area to hold a laptop?
Something under $100.

It would be greatly appriciated if you know.

http://www.targus.com/us/product_details.asp?sku=RG0318 is what I use as a normal backpack, but having the laptop area is nice for when my teachers insist I bring my laptop on essay day due to poor handwriting

. Also I think I got it at walmart for like $25, half of what it costs on their official site

I have a Targus laptop backpack that I've been using and traveling with for 8 years now. The thing is still in great shape. Built like a truck.

So I would highly recommend Targus for the prices and durability.

I second that about Targus; mine's one of those boring black laptop bags but the thing is a tank I swear it.
Could probably knock someone out with it while it's empty

I'd recommend backpacks over messenger bags; heavy shoulder bags are quite hard to carry.

I find laptop bags pretty much scream "mug me" so can I suggest you get a decent bag (climbing shops have good ones) and take it to a tailor/seamstress and explain specifically what you want (maybe even grab a cheap cover to be sewn in). It will probably not end up costing much more if you do it right and you will end up with a really nice setup.

Oh and check your measurements: widescreen stuff can be a pain to fit in anything reasonably priced.

I have this:

http://www.amazon.com/SYNERGY-SwissGear-We...sxp_grid_pt_0_0

I can fit my whole locker in there. Although when I do, I look like a retarded freshman.
lol dude, I think that is the exact same backpack that Infinitus has. And his is stuffed to the brim. Not only that, but he somehow manages to pack it with so much shit that the has to carry his lunchbox, a binder, and two folders outside of the bag. It's rather pathetic and it does make him look like a retarded freshman :/
