Kingston Micro Sd card I got from Shoptemp....Is fake?

Is this for real..I put it in and it tells me to format yet it only lets me format to 698mb of memory, its a 4gb card...what is this all about!

That doesn't sound good...maybe it's a bad card, maybe it's a fake.
You should chase that up with them, the Kingston 2gb I got seems to be legit.

Could be defective too. Not too sure why it's asking you to reformat it unless its already in a format that can't be read by your PC (I am assuming you have windows operating system).

Alright I got it to format to the right memory amount under linux...no telling if its real but I sure hope so...Thanks guys. Was in a panic for a min.

Try the panasonic formatter

I'm glad it has been sorted out as I was planning on bundling a 4gb mini with a future purchase
