Hacking Just bought an EZ Flash III

Hi,

Just bought an EZ Flash III (This one: here )
But it doesn't work on my Windows 7 - 64bits computer. Do you know where can I found a windows 7 compatible driver?

No drivers official or otherwise. I am not sure if it will work under the windows 7 vm but you should be able to get a full on VM running.

Failing that I have yet to try it but you might have some luck with a XP liveCD of some form.

Nice job on scoring an EZ3 as well.

I got a nice xp laptop for $55. I use it with my old parallel port linkers and GBA flash carts. I can throw it under my bed when I'm not using it.

To get the EZ-Flash III drivers working you will need to use Virtual PC (or the XP mode that you can download from microsoft) or VMWare. The EZ-Flash III will blink red if you try and get the drivers to work under virtualbox.


Virtualbox sees the EZ-Flash III as 2 devices for whatever reason.

I picked up an EZ Flash III recently as well. I managed to get it working using my iMac and virtualbox to run XP. All I had to do was set up virtualbox to see the USB port and the writing device, and it's worked perfectly.
