So I'm using an R4i Gold 3DS with the latest firmware and a ez flash 3-in-1 on my gameboy macro (DS Lite) to run GBA games and it works really well. But my issue is saving/loading. I have a gametitle.gba.sav in the folder after I play a game and save, but when I reopen the game, it starts me from the beginning and/or i have no slave slots. I'm just not sure what I need to be doing or what I didn't set up correctly? Any help would be great.

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
