I didn't know where to put this.

So I just bought Spirit Tracks and I want to insert the save from my Acekard into it. How would I do this without using a Wifi method, they never seem to work for me.

Hell yeah. Ok, I managed to backup the actual game, but if I go to save it says "save unrecognized, please check slot-1 cart".

Oh, just read your edit. Thanks!

Sorry for the double post.

Ok, I converted the Zelda save to 1MB for the cartridge, but it's still not working. It continues to say "save type not recognized"

The size of the save is not fixed and is put into NOR not the SRAM, but does defaults to whatever it can detect. I don't have a legit zelda ST to test it out.

From the ini file we can see the line we need to put in the custom size:

Fom the Cheat database XML file, I looked up the 4 letter hex code to be BKIE (USA), so we only need the first 3 letters, BKI.

Now assumming the save is exactly 1 megabyte, 1024 kilobytes would all we would have to put down so the line we enter would look something like this:

BKI:1024

If the size is slightly larger, we just need to adjust it accordingly.

From the NDS backup tool Slot2 file, multi-megabyte save sizes was possible then.

The method I use is the NDS Backup Adaptor Plus. It is a USB device that can read/write SAV files from/to a retail cart.
