ROM Hack Is there a way to use CRT font tool to change the font of the clock on the 3ds home menu HUD

inside of the homemenu cia I found a font folder for the hud but If I put my own converted font there that works with the rest of the 3ds, it fails to boot the home menu with the cia modded in that way. So is there any way I could get this to work?
