I want to test FF7 on my goldstar set and if there's an emulator for ps1 games for the wii, it would be the most convenient way to test it out for me. Out of all the emulators currently around which one has the highest compatibility with FF7?
Because WiiStation is more updated. Why Wii Station? There both about on par as each other since Wiistation latest update

I checked the compatibility list and it says it works, so I'll try it out later. One thing though, how do I link discs together? You know, when it says put in disc 2, how does that work? Because this is an emulator and not a real console I can't put in the disc. Does it tell disc 1 that disc 2 is in if I have both of them on my sd card?Because WiiStation is more updated.
Also, WiiSXRX Beta 4.0 is just a preview and not a final version.
You can have the ISOs of all the discs of FF7 on your SD card and when the game asks for change (swap) disc, there's an option on WiiStation for swap CD (with the ISO of the Disc 2).I checked the compatibility list and it says it works, so I'll try it out later. Most likely Wiisxrx 4.0 preview maybe your best chance

Whatever emulator you fancy. Up to you bud as to what features you want out of which emulator. So I should use WiiSXRX then?
I'll just use whichever is more user friendly I think. I'm assuming it's Wiistation just by the name.Whatever emulator you fancy. Up to you bud as to what features you want out of which emulator.
Wiistation, actually previously named "WiiSXRX_2022", uses the same folder as the parent fork, WiiSXRX.I'll just use whichever is more user friendly I think. I'm assuming it's Wiistation just by the name.
LOL, non taken, we don't get paid by usage quota. Using Wiistation is still using WiiSXRX, anyway.Cool. Thanks for the help fellas. I think I'll use Wiistation though, with no offense meant to you , Mr.Niuss.
BIOSHello again, I tried loading up FF7 disc 1 on wiistation and all it shows is a black screen. Am I doing something wrong, or does it just take a long time to load from SD card?
OH, ok thank you! From the readme file I thought BIOS was optional but I guess it's not... I assume we are not allowed to share BIOS on here yes?BIOS
