Hacking IOS50, Mii Channel, and System Menu 3.4 + Cashmans

I've run 0.2 on my wii, downloaded 7 parts and said it installed successfully. The mii channel looks the same to me. How do I know if I got the updated version?

I googled and this I found:

"A new channel is headed for the Wii that allows users to view and vote on th Mii characters created by others."

So you might want to search for some VOTE button.

A real MUST HAVE this Mii channel update. How can I continue living if I can't vote for peoples Mii characters???

Right...After not looking at the Wii scene for a few days I've found this. I've read through every post on here but I want someone to answer this.

I've seen that the people at SoftChip have released the updated Mii Channel that CashMan has also released, but SoftChip have also released an IOS50 pathc to my understanding. If I install this, will everything still work as normal, or shall I just install CashMan's Mii Channel and wait? Or shall I not do anything at all? I don't like the idea of Nintendo updating my Wii to the latest version...

i have installed this patched update and noticed no different sys. menu,still on 2.X? and i did not notice any difference in the mii channel other than the menu's hide when your looking at your mii's. As far as the wiiconnect24 and updating your wii i'm thinking this wont happen but you never know.... if it does im thinking ios16 trick will allow you to get back in and downgrade back?????

I have removed the link to the IOS50 and Mii Channel updater simply because posting it here was a method of getting a trucha patch for IOS50 out to informed developers and testers. It is not intended for general public use, although the Mii Channel patches are suitable for anyone.

In the meantime, I suggest using CashMan’s Mii Channel Updater if you want the new Mii channel features.

hmm, i used their patch and not cashmans.. although i wouldn't notice the difference don't touch that channel, i must have nearly 1000 barking mad wanting to get into plaza lol
