Hacking ios 58 won't reinstall

I attached a flash drive to my wii (tried both usb slots) opened wiimc and wiimc didn't display my flash drive. I tried to reinstall ios58 from multi mod manager, with out success. I tried to install ios58 from http://www.wiibrew.org/wiki/IOS58_Installer and had no success either. What gives? when I pressed home in home brew I'm on ios 58 v24.3.2

Do You have partition table on usb stick?

Don't use IOS58 Installer. Download ModMii and use it to make a WAD for IOS58. The app doesn't get the latest version.
