Hey all, firstly I'd like to thank you in advance for any help you can render! I have been unable to play BOTW at all. It always crashes (tan screen) just after the "Open you eyes" part of the intro. I have CEMU 1.9.0, have loaded all required updates and patches via Mapleseed, have tried the default version, version 33, and version 64. Now, I don't recall if when I had it at version 33 the version.text was the correct version, but I THINK it was. So, presently I have v.64 and the .txt is 1.1.2.. I had it log what was going on and this is what came up:

[01:38:35] AES-NI is unavailable. Using default filesystem decryption
[01:38:39] Loading .rpx -> Map "C:/Helper DL/DATA/USA/GAMES/Latest BOTW/The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild [ALZE0101]/content/" to /vol/content/
[01:38:39] TitleId of launched game: 00050000101c9400
[01:38:39] Mounting local storage (updates): .\mlc01\usr\title\00050000\101C9400\
[01:38:39] Loading game profile "gameProfiles\00050000101c9400.ini"
[01:38:39] saveDir and shaderCache name: dcac9927
[01:38:40] Using OpenGL version 4.5
[01:38:40] OpenGL extensions:
[01:38:40] ARB_clip_control: available
[01:38:40] ARB_get_program_binary: available
[01:38:40] ARB_clear_texture: available
[01:38:40] ARB_copy_image: available
[01:38:40] GL_VENDOR: ATI Technologies Inc.
[01:38:40] HLE: Patch BotW crash candidate at 0x02717aa4
[01:38:57] Recompiler initialized. CPU extensions: LZCNT

I do not really know how to interpret this. Can someone please help me?

Thanks,
Astro

There's nothing to interpret. The game loaded correctly. It didn't load DLC. It may or may not have loaded an update. The RPX hash is of an unmodified game; good job on that.

Let's see if I can be as clear as possible.

If you are correctly updated you don't need to edit version.txt. The game will just work.
If you are correctly updated you can edit version.txt to anything you want and it will make no difference.
If you are NOT correctly updated and you edit version.txt to get around the system update it will NEVER actually go in game.
V0.9.0 of the game does not work. And you will only see the system update message if you are not properly updated.

So since you have edited version.txt and you are getting v0.9.0 freezes my guess is that ".\mlc01\usr\title\00050000\101C9400\" is empty.

Thanks for responding. I used Mapleseed to update and add the DLC, or at least I thought I did. I put the update, DLC, and the game folders alone in a folder. Then I opened Mapleseed and +'ed the update and DLC. After Mapleseed finishes, is there anything else I need to do? The mlc01 directory is empty in the CEMU folder. It stops at "title".

Thanks again,
Astro
