I wish one day for a chip that doesn't need soldering
On patched systems? That's never gonna happen. Modchips makes injecting a payload possible by fluctuating the voltages on the tegra processor so it skips a check. How would you do that without soldering wires directly to the board?

count the number of white flashes, that'll tell you which wire is likely bad.
open loop on /RST doesnt seem correct at least.

Got one installed in my OLED, works beautifully.

I read in several places that after powering off from OFW with a modchip the system turns back on after ~15 seconds, this one I observed that the chip briefly flashes but system stays off. This is without an SD card inserted so no auto hos off from hekate.

Feature must be baked in the chip firmware ?

use jump wire straight to the chip, the D point so small and i have ts100 with very fine tip but it not a right tool for this job and make sure u cut the D point off the ribon other wise if it some how pop up and touch the cpu frame will short the switch out

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
