I think he means that people would reverse engineer the exploit again.
That may be, but I'm sure it would take awhile to do again. It only happened so quickly with 3.0 because Nintendo didn't change their save encryption since FW 7.x (correct me if I'm wrong).

Personally, I think it has something to do with the tools used to compile the launcher.dat. People probably used the tools for compiling a .dat for decompiling the .dat into asm files again. Not entirely sure, but it could be that. Otherwise, they used the leaked asm files.

I doubt your ability, but I hope you prove me wrong.
Sorry to say but If you doubt his ability then you're a fucking idiot.

He's working with Yifan Lu. If he weren't capable Yifan Lu wouldn't be throwing his support behind the project.

Working with?
She's reading his blog.

I'm working with Bill Gates because I started programming on windows 95

Hello everyone,

As of January 20, 2015, I have gathered two people to help me translate the pseudo code that Yifan Lu has made into working C that can be compiled into ASM format. The first stage of the payload has been translated and is ready. We are now working on the second stage.

She even copied the word "owning" from the blog.

Probably a cfw or modification of a cfw since that will allow for the most stuff
With this said, your thread will probably skyrocket now. What you're set out to do and if you manage to do it is amazing. The possibilities are endless. With that said, such possibilities bring responsabilities and risks. :P

Godspeed my fellow Temper and good luck.

Not trying to hate, I tried to help you in the switch noob thread by asking for you, but you don't want to accept the answers you got, so do whatever then.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Is that bigonya squeezing bulmas tiddies

@BigOnYa, Man, first of all thanks for your willing to help, much appreciated. But, it's not that I "don't want to listen", rather than I need soemone to EXPLAIN to me how and why all these are risky.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Putting your dick in certain areas is always a risk

  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
For example, HOW is is risky to get banned if you extract the save files to the CFW?
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
isn't this proccess be done while you're offline?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
We are not Nintendo, so we don't know exactly how/why/when they ban, but better to stay on the safe side and not do shady stuff, if you don't want to be banned. Hayato is one of the most knowledgeable ones here on the subject and I believe what he says.

    300 bucks hmmm lol
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
@BigOnYa, Yes ofc we don't know how Nintendo bans work, but if there are situations where a lot of people have tried safely then we can at least assume that this path is pretty much safe. To say don't try anything homebrew relative just to be safe forever is the easiest thing to say to someone. What I am trying to figure out here is with which cases and what actions got most of the people their bans for.
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
Most things I can find resulting to a ban is save-editing reasons, like Pokehex, etc, and going online afterwards.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I'm almost certain fucking Google fibers modems blocking out PPPoE signals
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Like the 6th time I had to reboot this router trying to get PPPoE active
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Ken, your hamster inside it is hungry. Can't you turn POE on/off in your WiFi settings page? Or is it not staying on?

  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
@BigOnYa, Well, in that thread they say it's pretty much safe to manage save files back and forth to consoles as long as you don't go online with cheats activated or with a pirate game.
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
I own every of my games legit with their own cartridges
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
also, I'm not planning to use any cheats, etc, just continue the normal gameplay on the emulator
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It only gives a internet settings option then it spazes out
    +1
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@ATEMVEGETA if you use save from other switch you may be ok, but using a save from emulator to switch will prob get you banned
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    Under ipv4/6
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
The save file will be created and started normally on the Switch's OFW with a legit game. Then that save file will be transfered to the emulator and continue the gameplay there. Then send it back to the console.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I feel like I need to touch @Sicklyboy rack to make it work at this point
  • A @ ATEMVEGETA:
The save file(s) would never be created first in an emulator
