Hacking Question IF i do a nand backup but not with the user part will it still work

like can I use the backup or will it be invalid
You can use the backup, it just won't roll back your installed games/saves. If your goal is to make a clean NAND backup before CFW you should have rawNAND + boot0/boot1, and optionally also a sys backup if for some reason you brick your sysNAND so you can easily recover without losing your data.

i hacked my switch on FW 6.0 but i just realised i never made a backup

@The Real Jdbye is that enough for a nand backup i did make one on FW 6.0 and this is a clean backup before CFW

Sure. Probably a good idea to have a sys backup of your current firmware as well as boot0/boot1 backups of your current firmware too, but it's not necessary.
