The Iedge card is not compatilble with the 3ds as quoted by bitinio6 above.

oh dtp, yeah an edit again lol, what did you do to update those edge cards, for me it goes to 100% when i start the iedge and it says " completed in 55 seconds blah blah " press a to restart your ds or whatever and then when i turn it back on it still comes up as that japanese game.
i tried to updaet it on a dsi xl and a ds lite

Both my carts were updated on a DSL. Both work fine on my DSL (They show the Mech game which is V4 firmware). Both my updates went to 100% and the led flashed etc.. They both work on my DSL, so i`m sure the update process worked. One shows a blank 3D cart on my V2 3DS. The other says there is no cart inserted. Doesn't matter how many times i re-insert it or try other micro SD cards. (Neither of them worked on my 3DS when it was V1 either...)
So neither of mine work. I`m not saying yours doesn't work.. But there must be a reason why some DO.. and some DON'T.
My DSTWO after doing all it`s updates works fine on my 3DS.. Not sure if that helps.. But there it is.

The red or blue blinking light was only for the very first bootstrap update.

So there nothing on the Edge website http://www.edge-ds.cn/ or the CycloDS website http://www.cyclopsds.com/cgi-bin/cyclods/engine.pl to say they that the cards support the 3ds in ds mode for either of the two flashcards concered so don't keep trying to drag it on.

dude lol, my iedge shows up on the 3ds just fine, its just that since i dont haev the upadte installed i cant see if i can run it, tne update is ticking me off lol. it just doesnt wanna update at all

I've discovered something with the new iedge firmware on my DSi XL v1.4.2E fw.
I noticed that my favourite homebrew game, Tetris Terror Instinct wasn't working.
After a bit of messing around, I've finally got it working but I thought people should be aware of this.
It seems like homebrew games cannot be found if they are placed in the 'NDS' folder on the Micro SD card.
If you put homebrew games on the root of the Micro SD card, then it seems to work fine.
