I also use a small, usb powered fan you can get on ebay or amazon. Leave it on to move air around the case and keep it elevated and that should keep it nice. I use the usb powered fans on my network drive cases when i was having overheating. I even pluged them into the spare usb slot on the NAD to power it!
Here's one on eslay:

I'd recommend something to lift PS4 off the ground to help passively dissipate heat. This made a significant drop in temp and fans having to ramp up on my PS4 Pro.

See this post:

In the summer I used to put it over the vertical base of the ps2

I also detached the lid of the ps4 to let it breathe
In my room I used to put the ps4 on top of caps like these

All I can tell you is I A/C my house to 78F and I still use about 8 of those fans on various heat-producing equipment. I even have a small one on my ps4, right behind the built in rear fan port. I can feel the difference in temperature when I place my hand on the case. In simple physics terms, it acts as a thermal transfer unit, or heat sink. You can even set it on the top of the case and it cools the ps4 down. I'm going to use one on my ps5, which has been reported by some to have cooling issues.
They are cheap enough on ebay...

I keep my house at a nice and cool 64 degrees C. I run hot naturally, and 78F is just unbearable for me.
