everything is solid there but I'd double check everything will fit in that mATX case (look at the comments in pcpartpicker). You might be happier with a more powerful video card if you can fit it into your budget. Personally I prefer normal ATX builds unless I'm short on space and the reason is airflow and cable management.

I forgot to write what I was going to use it for lol. Mainly open world and fps, things like GTA, Skyrim, overwatch, bf1.
My max would be around 800 to 900 us dollars, but I still need a keyboard, mouse and monitor.
I will likely buy another case, the one in there was an example.

What GPU would you recommend? What should I ditch or what's not necessary?

I swear to god this has been my best method of getting a pc:

Find someone on craigslist (local seller, etc) who constantly upgrades their pc and sells the old one.

I've gotten a 3000 dollar pc for 800 bucks once and a similar deal another time. It's used but go check to make sure it's legit before you buy!

For 1080p gaming a GTX1060 or a RX480 will suffice on the games you play. Unless you want to do 4K or get ridiculous frames per second.
