Dev units themselves are expensive as shit, and this is a (technically) illegal one (as according to license agreement you don't own the unit, you pay to just borrow it from Nintendo, you can't sell it)

OP was btw very lucky. He got the Switch as "defective" and for ca. 300€. So its the perfect dream buy, getting a dev console while searching a normal one.
