Stay on OFW 4.1.0 and wait for a release. Currently nothing has been made public for ipatched consoles. TX claimed to be working on something and there is an unreleased exploit known as "Deja Vu", it's a warmboot. Only options are to sit tight and be patient or return the system and try to find another one that is vulnerable. Hope this helps

Good luck finding one of those these days though as they aren't THAT easy to come by
a little over a month ago (mid-september) you could find several unpatched consoles sold at brick and mortar shops in my (western european) area ; I found one easily at the first shop (Mediam*rkt) I went to.
edit : in my case, the console was a little more expensive (+20 euros for the $1.00 plastic film) than the other ones, because a 'screen protector has been applied at factory'. Maybe take a look for such a sticker from the old stock. I was happy to pay 20 euros for the hackable item, and... well, there's at least no bubble :yayswitch:

Regarding the screen protector, the one i bought at launch (i think it was an official one from Nintendo) was the easiest screen protector i ever applied, and I've had alot of phones the last 10 years.

But good for you to find a hackable Switch [emoji1303]

I don't think Nintendo makes screen protectors, you are probably thinking of Hori as they make licensed accessories. Could also be PDP, except for the fact that the PDP screen protector is a huge pain to apply since it's such a perfect fit. Once perfectly applied and centered you can hardly tell it's on though.

I have ipatched switch what can i do for this
Keep it on 4.1.0, there will be a warmboot method soon(ish). If you already updated it, then you're out of luck for the time being.
Also, TX have been promising something for iPatched units (but it's likely just the same warmboot method)

Could go both ways, they still manufacture new Switches in those colors. And after all the JoyCons are separate from the console so those could have been manufactured a long time ago while the console itself is newer. Plus, Nintendo can update the consoles post-production if they so wished.
It just depends on how long the seller (or whoever they bought it from) has had them sitting around in the box. Which is hard to tell without looking at the serial, which you can't really do when buying from eBay.
Second hand also is hit and miss but at least there you can ask the seller for more info to make sure. Most of the time second hand is safe though.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
