Just use your scan visor everywhere when you get stuck. It will often reveal how to open up a new path. That's how I found that little rock to blow up, I was stuck there too for a while.
Don't hate the game because you suck at it. Metroid Prime 3 was way to simple I hope they will make things harder in the next game.

The only other prime I played was the first one and that one seemed way harder than this one.

I found it funny cause many many years ago, had a roommate in college that did this same dumbass branding of the school logo, but it didn't look anything like it after it healed. Just looked like a birthmark.
