I would like to create a mod for Metroid Prime Trilogy that allows traditional kb+m controls. Meaning that when you move the wiimote the camera stays fixed relative to the gun. Now this is for use with Dolphin so we can emulate the wiimote. I imagine the easiest way to do this it to figure out how they interpret the wiimote being close to any edge of the viewpoint, then increase this threshold all the way until each edge just surrounds the targeting reticle. In this manner when you "point" the wiimote the camera will move like a typical fps. Now how would I go about "modding" the game? Where would I look? Has anyone else attempted this? I'm really starting from nothing here, although I have programming experience.
