wha . . . i assumed you meant on the source system . . . but you want to restore what was on the target system now that it has cfw on it (. . . after doing a system transfer to it) ... then relink your nnid to it and redownload the games (or pirate them)

I haven't touched the source system (o3DSXL) since transfer.

The source system I want to do a clean refresh, no NNID, no games/apps, just keeping CFW. Haven't even touched it since copying over mSD. Basically I want to gift Source to someone, connect their NNID to it, and basically start "fresh".

What I'm asking about is the Target system (n3DSXL). I have CFW installed (finished guide), but none of my CFW games or apps are there. Do I just re-DL them? I tried DLing FreeShop from FBI TitleDB, but gives me URL error. Must I DL the FreeShop Launcher for N3DSXL?

dont use titledb for freeshop instead do this to set it up

How do I use/install freeShop?
quick tutorial here

1. Open FBI, go to Remote Install, then Scan QR Code
2. Visit https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-pauls-freeshop-fork-open-source-eshop-alternative.483159/ on your computer and scan the QR code at the beginning of the thread with your 3DS
3. Hit A to install
4. Google search 3DS titlekeys on your computer
   
5. Click the QR code button underneath the heading 'enctitlekeys.bin'
6. Press B on your 3DS until you get back to the main FBI menu, then hit Start to exit
7. Open up freeShop
8. Tap the cog icon, then the Update tab
9. Tick the top checkbox on the touch screen
   
10. Tap the little QR code button that is near the top checkbox
11. Scan the QR code that appeared on your computer screen in step 5
12. Press Start to exit freeShop
13. Open up freeShop, and it is ready to use

Use tikshop to install the tickets. You’ll probably find that they appear on the home menu afterward.

Okay, so while I unwrap all this, what is best way of cleaning up mSD on Source (o3DSXL)?? Don't want to save anything except CFW which already seems to be working. So re-install necessaries like FreeShop, etc. . Must I also run tikShop on this one and uninstall through FBI? Or is there an easier way?

Don't want to restore it the way it was. Want a "fresh" start. Should I just perform a system format? Will that kill CFW?
