How to install microSD Management on O3DS

This is a guide to get and install it.

Warning MAKE A NAND BACKUP. No chance of brick, but hey.

Warning: Not responsible for any damage.

Lets begin


  1. Using 3DNus, Download the microSD Management cia for your region
  2. Copy that CIA to your SD.
  3. Turn on your 3DS
  4. Open FBI
  5. Select SD
  6. Select the CIA
  7. Install
  8. Go to FBi->Titles and select it.
  9. Profit

FAQ's

Q: Why?
A: Idk.

Q. How did you come up with this?
A: I am bored

Q: Why won't this appear on my Homescreen?
A: Because it was never supposed to be on O3DS or the Homemenu

Q: I don't see it in settings.
A: The settings isn't a N3DS version. It won't show.

Q: Transfers are SLOWWWW. WHY?
A: Your internet

Q: Can I install the N3DS settings?
A: I think. However you should. Because if you format, you are SOL unless you restore.

Q: Why can't I use a FTP server.
A: You can. But some people can't set it up.

Q: Why can't I pop out the SD?
A: You can. It is For anyone who doesn't want to turn their 3DS off or protecting the SD.​

Or just get it on that iso site.

microsd management hasn't had any patches to make it faster or anything. All versions are practically the sam.

Got "MicroSDManagement to fix compatibility for Pasta EUR" from That iso site, extracted it with "HomeMenuEdition", change every "MicroSD" to just "SD", and "new Nintendo 3ds" to "Nintendo 3ds" in the "message_EU_LZ.MSBT" file edited the two icons (banner lower icon) with the SD card logo in Software Management o3DS, and change every "MicroSD" to just "SD" in the icon file (all languages), build a new cia, and that's it. That was almost 2 years ago.

Transfer speeds aren't dependent on internet speed, but rather the router itself. You don't even need internet to transfer files over your own network.

    @TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)

I would like to eventually have the ability to add more characters, enemies, even have a completely different story if i wanted. I already have the ability to change the tilemaps in the US version, so I can basically make my own map and warp to it in game - so I'm pretty far into it!
