Hacking How to home menu itself as a permanent entrypoint to get homebrew running

I was surfing https://smealum.github.io/3ds/ to see what is the best and free option to start install Homebrew Launcher.

I found that you can use the home menu itself as stated: If your 3DS is on a compatible version, you can use home menu itself (!) as a permanent entrypoint to get homebrew running ! Head over to yellows8's homemenuhax page and follow instructions there. Note that menuhax only works on firmware versions between 9.0 and 11.0.


But I can't see any guide to walk you through to do that...

Anyone one knows how to do it?

Mine is Old 3DS XL 11.00

Buy a exploit game, a primary one. Cubic Ninja, Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations Alive!, and I think there's another. But I don't believe 11.0 has another *hax entrypoint.

You can buy OoT + Powersaves for roughly the same price as Cubic Ninja

OoT + Powersaves is basically Primary as you can live without an already homebrew accessible 3ds

Why? @swabbo have a good point. Since OoT + Powersaves is easier & cheaper to get.
The choice is up to OP which route he want. @swabbo just give him another option.

eh, i got my sig patches for the wii u running and gave the code out, tested rednand, the 3ds was alright. but uh, yknow, good 11 months

Browserhax should also work if you haven't got the update nag yet.
