If this hasn't already been said, solderless will simply be like the Wii modchips back in the day: they'll clip onto the chip(s)/motherboard. Solder version is the same thing but you solder the points yourself. Solder version is superior but solderless is much easier.

Yeah, but in a portable console I wouldn't recommend using a solderless chip because it's portable it will keep moving N shaking all over the place, unless it's something that is really rock solid.

If it keeps loosing connection on the contacts I would get bored to be constantly opening the console to fix the chip in place...

I'm sure if everyone search well there will be ppl in your country that would solder the chip well for a small price...

But I my self will wait a bit and see user reports about the chip before buying, because imagine if the chip does crap that damages the hardware???...

What if the solderless version is actually software related for those on the right firmware?
Because we are already going to have them from everyone else, so what would be the point? If/when the exploits are released from 2.x-3.x why would anyone pay TX for the same solution?

One thing I think is if f0f(I know lol) or anyone else releases a solution that works on all FWs prior to TX's getting to market that there's the potential for TX's solution to fade into the background and potentially never be released.

That's exactly why... I never said it'd be a paid method. Would probably be the same thing as the other teams, but different support.

It would be a mass flood for Hacks and entry points, would just be disgusting. However, I see no logical reason not to think this.

I give up.

USB device - Not gonna happen
Flash cart - It's launching at boot, its not a flash cart
Soft mod - Why, they wouldn't make any money so why bother(and everyone else is already doing it)? A solderless 'version'(as they called it hinting that it's the same thing just a different version), Futureproof?
Hardmod - Working on bootup, they've released hardmods for years, CFW, Futureproof, they've mentioned 'solution' 'version' 'mod' 'solder' and 'solderless' - Jesus if that doesn't tell people ITS A HARD MOD I DON'T KNOW WHAT WILL.

You have issues. There's nothing wrong with a bit of speculation. It's more fun than thinking about the actual release. Do us all a favor and kill your ego, thanks.
