I honestly don't want piracy for a while i want being about to play backup from cartridges first before anything like that

backups lead to piracy.
When/if this thing gets released could screw up chances of decent homebrew.
hopefully f0f releases something when TX does. They don't deserve profit.

well just because piracy is an option does not mean that every person that buys this chip will use it... and we don't know if the Nintendo switch has a foreseeable limit of games that can be installed at once like the Wii u and 3ds did... so if one were to pirate it could only be useful for so long before going to back loader which becomes a bigger pain

I understand the will to run backups from disc based games, but cartridges?

i get it would be a little different and maybe even harder to pull off... as soon as i saw how the switch worked i said to myself "I'm going fully digital" so since my brother seems to be building a physical library i would like to have backups of his games just in case his gets stolen or broken... some concept for a disk i guess

I think it's simply a custom eMMC, that you replace with your original eMMC (it just clicks in place). I'm sure it won't be a dongle.

The tx mod most likely is not an external usb mod so expect the solderless to snap on somwhere internaly quit dreaming they would have said usb or external if it was. Not making people wonder just saying ive bought lots of products from tx back in the 360 days look at the demon for example im thinking it will be something like that for dual nand solderless with clips somehow maybe like e3 flasher for ps3
