ROM Hack How can I install themes as cia on emunand?

I have downloaded a theme pack as a cia but every time I try to install it via big blue I get an error.
Any thoughts?

First you need to remove the theme you currently have with dev menu then you can install the theme pack

What do you mean? I have to go in dev menu and uninstall the theme free theme I have already installed? How do I do that?

Ok fixed it. I just went into dev menu on my theme pack file. Saw the file id and went back to the installed programs on the devmenu, found the program with the same file id and deleted it. After this the pack installed fine. From what I understand every time I go into eshop I will have to install the theme pack again? Is that right?

Yea because dlc and the theme packs aren't legit so they get deleted when you enter the eeshop. Keep any dlc and themes on your sd card at all times whenever you need to reinstall

I have my games in 3ds and 3dz files so I won't have problems like those. The only cia that I have installed are the themes biblue menu and coin setter. Any update that I need for anygame can be installed genuinely from the eshop so there is no issue with them.

Cia games, by menu and coinsetter won't be deleted if you enter the eshop. Only themes and dlc.
