THAT iso site. I didnt think where it came from really mattered.
it does, not so much as the url you downloaded it from - but if you made the cia yourself, or if you got it from a friend who used some tool... etc etc
but if it is just from the iso site, it is most likely not a good, straight from cdn untouched, cia.

and it isn't, because the key isn't real. so, someone will have to dump the ticket from when they have bought it :)
thanks for trying though.

I imagine a cartridge dump with Decrypt9 wouldn't work either?

Just for curiosity... do you know any methode to bruteforce a titlekey from a content file?
I know breaking 128 bit encryption is no easy feat but still it would be nice to try.
Also trying with a random generated rainbow table would be interesting if by PURE coincidence a valid titlekey can be found.

Nope... I'm just curious if ever anybody attempted something like this.
guessing a key via bruteforce is nothing new or specific to 3ds/wii u, sure it is technically possible but you will just have to wait a very very long time.
so it's not worth it, it is much much much cheaper to buy the game and get the key, compared to getting the best computer in the world, and waiting many years.

Yes I know that if you compare the effort... than its a no brainer, buy and decrypt instead of trying 16^256 combinations.

No the actual question was, if ever somebody tried it... from cearps post I get it, that somebody has tried.
It actually does not matter if such a method is usefull for daily live.
Sending ppl to the moon wasn't usefull either... could have sent a plain probe with a flag too like the soviets did.
