homebrew launcher (pichaxx) isn't working

i am at the step of hacking my original 3ds where i open pokemon picross. i get a black screen with an error saying, "an error has occured. hold down the POWER Button to turn of power" i followed the guides trouble-shooting, but it did not work. what should i do?

At what point does this occur? You may have gotten the wrong otherapp.bin for your console (I've seen this a few times).

Can you send a pic of the root of your SD and the Nintendo 3DS -> <ID0> -> <ID1> -> title -> 00040000 -> 0017c100 -> data folder?

Or is someone here just supposed to write out all the troubleshooting steps again?
