I started visiting this site around the Wii/DS era myself. It was probably a couple years after the DS was released, around when I first heard of DS flashcarts. I had heard of GBA flashcarts and even GBC flashcarts many years before but could never afford one, and by the time I got a GBA flashcart I already had a DS.
I've had a lot of fun posting on this site and engaging in conversation since I first registered and I hope you'll stick around for a long time. More regulars is always a good thing
