That's the only thing I know how to say in Viet I know where the inflections go when I say it, but I don't know how to write it properly with all the dots, accents, circumflex etc.

Example: 手紙 - in Japanese, this means "letter," but in Chinese, it means "toilet paper." I want to learn enough Chinese to be able to read and understand signs. I don't know if I'll have enough time to devote to acquiring fluency in the language, but I'll see what happens.
Oh and could you please try to keep it in English? This is an English-only forum. Thanks
My reading is good ? Since I'm part Viet I'm interested in Chinese since we have a bit of the same vocabulary , but I rather speak Chinese then write in it. Isn't there a different symbol for every word D:?Can you spell " ni hao ma?" I spell these words for you : "你好吗?" Your reading is very good!
I understood Tieng Viet Khong xD. I don't speak it, but I learned the accents, marks, and pronunciations, I just need to get the language down . How many languages do you know Densetsu? I wish I knew Japanese !Ban biet noi Tieng Viet khong?

It's supposed to mean "Do you speak Vietnamese?" but if you didn't understand it, it's probably because I wrote it wrongI understood Tieng Viet Khong xD. Thanks for that foot note . Your Filipino ! That's a good amount of languages hehe, all Asian, besides Spanish. Oh I want to learn Spanish .. oh yeah you said it right by the way~ in Vietnamese .It's supposed to mean "Do you speak Vietnamese?" but if you didn't understand it, it's probably because I wrote it wrong
Besides Japanese, I know smatterings* of Spanish (3 years in high school), Ilocano (grew up hearing it at home) and Tagalog. I can kinda read (vaguely understand, but not pronounce) some Chinese only because of my Japanese kanji knowledge.
If you want to learn Japanese, let me know and I could probably help you get started
Just to be clear, that footnote applies to all of those languages, not just SpanishThanks for that foot note .
Your Filipino!
