Homebrew Homebrew app [Hi-Fi] Thinking of making an app for the Wii, how do I code it up?

I've been thinking of coding an app called Hi-Fi for the Wii and DS. I want to make the Wii release first and so I'd like to know on how I even make it? I know nothing about coding on the Wii as an whole [I usually code on my PC] and so I might need some help with trying to do it.

Also quick question but does Homebrew apps support Wi-Fi without requiring an .xml?

Done everything, but a bit of a problem.
When I make, the .elf or .bin always comes out blank. I've been testing on Dolphin. I am using an Hello World type of code.

When you compile it should generate a .DOL file. That is the executable that you use on dolphin/wii hardware.
