I'm not really keen about authors, and I only read Oyasumi Punpun from him/her. the only mangaka i know by name and read his other works is Seo Kouji.
But yeah, oyasumi punpun is really nice. he got his distinct style in art which made me notice your avatar. his writing is good too, i've got no problems with the heaviness, makes it worth reading more.

Yeah that's the same for me, I like the way he manages to make you think over adolescence and the different aspects of being a grown-up, or wanna-be!
