I'm fairly new to the DS modding scene and I'm not very good at navigating the gbatemp page. Please feel free to move this post if I asked for help in the wrong place.
I'm working on Tomodachi Collection and I want to edit the rest of the jobs (mii news, etc.). I decided to do a test by opening the song message file. These formats are bin files, and I was able to open them in console tool 3.1 for viewing only. I tried editing them in tinke, and here's what I tried to do:
- Compress
- Hexadecimal on the narc file
- changed l.o.v.e to t.e.s.t
- saved. then saved the rom
Am I supposed to repack or use some sort of different application? Any help would be appreciated
