hi. would like someone who can help me with non responsive square button.

The square button does not work either in game or xmb

the following have been tried but square button does not work

1. downgraded to 5.00
2. updated to 6.61
3. replaced rubber on the face buttons
4. replaced new right side board
5. replaced new right side ribbon
6. resetted system settings

in all cases the square button does not work

Update: after checking with a bad but working motherboard it seems that the issue of square button is somewhere with the motherboard although i have no idea where to look in all cases the square button does not work

anyone can help me out with this. thanks in advance

What model is your PSP?

Oh sorry I just saw the thread name has the model in it.
I think that there are 2 possible issues, the connector for your buttons is damaged, or the button itself is damaged, as far as I know the only solution here is to buy a button replacement or send it to someone who can replace them for you.
