You can't just connect a digital video out to an analog input with a passive adapter.i am using the dock
using the hdmi going out from the dock to the adpter which to goes to the montoir
Monitor is 1080P ?i am using the dock

there is a guy on youtibe that does itYou can't just connect a digital video out to an analog input with a passive adapter.
As far as I'm aware, the Switch doesn't provide analog video out.
It's not a matter of resolution. The Switch can't output analog video, and the monitor most likely can't use digital video over a VGA connection.Monitor is 1080P ?
Show me. Is it a passive adapter? I very much doubt so. He most likely has an active converter.there is a guy on youtibe that does it

im sorry but just so i can

just saying you seemed to think the opposite so i just provide some evidence that disproves your claim"

?
I did ask for it because I'm not entirely sure if it supports it or not.
No idea why you're so "

okYou didn't prove me wrong. Unless I'm mistaken, that doesn't work with all monitors, as many can't use the signal the Switch outputs.

ok"BOI!!!"
That was a childish remark. You can provide evidence, but avoid coming off as a prick, you know?
Essentially, if digital video over VGA isn't supported (it isn't standard, chances are it isn't), you won't be able to use it.

I was not mistaken, as far as my research has shown me.
There's no passive adapter that can convert digital to analog.
lul, you can stop saying "ok" to all of my posts x.x
but old on what about my raspberry pi 3Essentially, if digital video over VGA isn't supported (it isn't standard, chances are it isn't), you won't be able to use it.
