having a volume problem with BGM on custom themes?

it sounds perfectly fine when previewed in usagi, and i make sure the volume slider is maxed up when i save the theme, but when i actually put it on my 3ds its really quiet its mostly a problem because im also uploading these to themeplaza, and i wanna make sure people can actually Hear the music more than the tiniest bit if they get my themes

Try popping the music in Audacity and amplifying it by a little bit. I did the inverse when the sound effects for my custom theme were too loud, and dropping them by about 10db did the job.
