Gaming Has Xbox 360 DLC been cracked?

The reason I ask is cause I'm seeing downloads on "various sites" for GTA IV: Lost and Damned, or is it just a (as many RVD fans like to say) a one shot deal?

Be awesome if somewhere down the pike we see 360 DLC fully cracked, but I highly doubt it could happen (never know though).....

You could of just found this information with a little quick search of your own.

You can download it, however theres some leg work to actually getting it onto your 360. You still need gta iv to make the dlc work though.

heres part of the nfo.

Installation:

1, connect your xbox360 HDD to your pc with a HDD Connectivity kit
or unpack your HDD case and use a simple sata cable.

2, turn on your pc and boot a windowsXP (only works with winXP!).

3, run "Xplorer360_09b6_20gb.exe" or "Xplorer360_09b6__60.120gb.exe" depending
on which size of HDD you have.

4, choose Drive -> Open -> Harddrive or Memcard... option.

5, after it loaded choose particion 3.

6, open the "Content" directory and inside open the "0000000000000000" directory

7, you have to open all the subdirectories of "0000000000000000" to find the
installed GTA4 files. That directory what you looking for contains lot of
files all of them with 162MB sizes (Data0000, Data0001, ...) PICS/2.jpg.
You can find that directory easly if you intall only the GTA4 to the HDD.

8, when you found it you have to MAKE a NEW FOLDER which name is "00000002"
under the GTA4 directory in this case under "545407F2" directory (PICS/1.jpg)

9, then open that new folder , right click on mouse and choose "Add..." option
to add the "B66716ED23BE790FCF1210AB932119501DC7405E54" file.

10, after the copy finished close the programm , and turn off the pc.

11, connect xbox360 hdd to the xbox360.

12, insert GTAIV disc and start the game.
(on the first start you need xbox live connection)

13, then come an update and you have to apply that.

14, restart the game

15, when loading it will checked that a "DLC" has been downloaded. It is ok.

16, Enjoy it

Im sure like the wii there is a way MS know you havent paid for it!! DLC is always paired with the console. MS are a bit hotter than nintendo on banning people though!

According to the original nfo, it was tested on 3 different 360s and 2 hard drives. Plus a reliable uploader of the particular site and several of the comments have claimed that it worked fine for them.

Personally didn't try it cause I bought it already.

A friend of mine has got a banned 360 and a 20gb HDD... I might end up trying to do this on his 360

If they could do this with other DLC then I'd easily take a ban for this then buy a new 360 for legit uses.

It won't work on a banned console, since you need to be connected to Live the first time you play it.

Yeah but do you have to be connected to live just to get the update for this new content, or because it has to verify new content? Because I have already played gta on my live profile on another system, so I already received an update on my memory card.
I would definitly do this if I can do it wihout the Live. I got banned over a year ago now, and I kinda miss DLC and XBLA games.
Edit: what if you put he dlc on your harddrive and placed it on someone elses unbanned xbox for the first load. Will that work, or does it have to be connected to live everytime?

I might work, GTA 4 just needs an update to recognise the dlc.
