Hardware Hand cramps holding the New 3DS?

does anyone nothing that the actual design of the hardware cramps up your hands after about an hour of play?

i started playing games by placing the 3DS on the floor against a wall so my hands dont cramp up.

i saw a few cases with a grip attachment. anyone have a recommendation of these types of cases, or any other cases that add more "bulk or meat" for better grip?

i have the cybergrip on my N3ds xl and love it, feels and looks good.
