According to Deufeufeu (Jump Ultimate translator) ,this great card game could be hacked to switch the language to english.

If a hacker is interested, that would be so cool

I remember I posted about this game in the Trans. Request thread... Switching over the language files DID work for the start of the game, because it displayed something like "Creating Data, don't turn the power off". But the font was all stretched out and it crashed after name input.

Nonetheless, if someone could fix it, that'd be awesome. ^^

I saw some of the games vids and gameplay and it looked really cool.

There are a bunch of plain text files in /data/Msg/us and /data/Msg/jp but they appear to be identical. Looks like its not just a case of swapping the files.

Right now im in the process of testing this too.
I am copying all the files from the msg/us folder and placing placing the files into the msg/jp folder.
I think the game hangs becuase it is looking for not yet translated files that already present in the msg/jp folder. If you notice there are many more
txt files in the jp folder than there were in the us folder. My theory is to add those missing jp files also into the folder after making the swap.

Can someone else try this as well to confirm results?

i took a look at this, while it, certainly, possible to translate this game it is not a means of swapping directories or changing a couple of bytes....
Msg/us has 99.9% of text in Japanese

I didn't think it'd be that easy... I'm beginning to think that the MSG/US directory was only for the English characters to be used during parts of the game (such as Name Entry), and does NOT contain the entire script in English, meaning I was wrong about what I thought before. My bad. ._."
