So we know what happened to the overstock of all those R4i carts...

...And it still works on a Luma3DS system! (yay!)

So here are my issues:

Are there any plugins for the R4i? Wifi sniffer? Anything?

How does one get the R4i to actually use .PNG/.GIF/.JPG/.BMP at higher bitrates other than 8-bit???

No offense, but at least the DSTwo can handle 32-bit .BMPs which look pretty decent compared to when I use AKEditor to port my theme .BMPs into 8-bit. It's just... ugh. C'mon, really? 8-Bit only?

So why is this? Why the limit? Can't the original R4i kernel handle more if allowed?

Now the main question: why do you post this to the acekard forum?
You can use every normal DS homebrew with the blue card, including moonshell and other apps to open files. There is a wifi sniffer for the DS, I think it's called Aircrack but you might have to search a bit deeper for it. The limit is everything the DS mode is limited to. This means 4MB RAM etc. The DSTWO is superior because it has it's own hardware.

No, I mean .BMPs from 8-bit > 32-bit

Even if I try 16-bit GWBlueCart can't seem to handle it. If I use the Acerkard editor it always downscales my images to 8-Bit. And of course, even if I try to double the dimensions of the .BMP, let's say from 256x256 to 512x512, all it does is remap from the top right coner displaying only a quater of the full image. Normally when you skin something in 3D it's not the vertices but the skin mapping that needs to be re-adjusted. In this case, I would guess it's the source code that just needs to be told to display all 512x512 pixels. How do I do that?

I was not aware all the DSTwo plugins worked with the Acekard! Thus my posting in this forum... That's awesome!

Wait, does this mean iMenu works on the GWBC?

Do tell me more... no matter how crazy. I'm searching for options right now. (although it wouldn't be the first time GBATemp.net has surprised me)

Not deeper colors. MORE colors. The 8-bit palettes are not cutting it. 32-bit would be preferable.

Ys Menu? A skin?

use YS menu and just insert the right bmp into the right place, no tools. copy-paste. there are 2 bmps- one for top, second for bottom. and AFAIK dstwo plugins dont work on acecard cause... cpu shit. what u wanna achieve in the end?
