Gaming God of war like games...

Recently I've been massively into god of war and I'm looking for more god of war - esque... Games. Any reccomendations??

or just the games fighting and controlling mechanism?

The only game that comes to mind is Dante's Inferno, where the gameplay literally is copied from God of War.

Devil May Cry (God of War basically modeled itself after it, just made it really easy, added some gore, and added a protagonist who just goes "HRRRRRRGGHHHHHHHHAAHHHHHH!"). The original game for the PS2, the third game, and the fourth game are all worth it (haven't played the fourth game myself though).

Onimusha 3 Demon Siege is fun and has VERY similar game play
